“Arena” is the latest and most modern machine of the OFEM’s range. Born from the latest developments of the most advanced technology used in flexographic printing, this machine is designed to reduce dramatically the preparation time.

The printing units are designed to replace both plate supporting sleeves and anilox sleeves directly on the press. Operations with the FDS (flexo door system) are natural and instinctive. The sleeve replacement is carried out by a practical door system which enables the supporting mandrels to be released from any position of the printing deck. Operations can be carried out in both manual and automatic modes, for the operator's complete freedom of choice.

The FDS printing units are hydraulic free systems, and the components subject to frequent changeover can be quickly dismantled without the use of any tools.

All set up points of each production job can be stored into a central processor controlling all the machine's functions, for easy and quick repeatability. Furthermore, the compact and rigid design of the printing units, allows this press to reach very fast printing speeds. The fully remote control system, equipped standard on this machine, allows easy operations by only 1 operator.

The series “GL” of this model, permits to print any intermediary repeat length in between the nominal range, by the use of independent servomotors mounted on each printing roller of the press, completely eliminating the use of transmission gears.
